ACCOMMODATIONS

While we do not offer on-site accommodations, many of our clients stay at local hotels and condominiums all within five miles of the Duke Diet and Fitness Center.

Many of our clients stay at Trinity Commons, adjacent to the Duke Diet & Fitness Center. These condominiums are fully furnished with in-room washer and dryer, kitchen, linens, cable TV, nationwide long distance, and internet access. The resort style grounds feature an outdoor salt water pool, 3,000 square foot fitness center, in-door resistance lap pool, sauna and steam room, recreation room and serene courtyards. Fully accessible rooms are also available.

Although many clients select from the housing list, please feel free to stay where you would be most comfortable. This list has been created for your convenience and to feature those accommodations that offer DFC clients a discounted rate.

TRAVEL

Most guests arrive at Raleigh Durham International Airport, which is approximately 15 miles from the Duke Diet & Fitness Center. The airport is serviced by most major airlines.

Public transportation in Durham is limited, and we encourage clients to have a car while at the center. There are several car rental agencies at the airport. Duke Diet & Fitness Center clients are eligible for a discount with Thrifty Car Rental and Enterprise Rent-A-Car:

• Thrifty Car Rental: Duke Diet & Fitness Center clients are eligible for a discount with any Thrifty Car Rental location in North Carolina. Thrifty Car 
  Rental offers a full range of Chrysler/Dodge products from compact to luxury cars at a special price for Duke clients. Duke clients will
  also be exempt from early and late return fees. Thrifty also offers free delivery or pick-up service to Duke Diet Center or any hotel in the surrounding area.
